As autumn & winter approach, we naturally turn inward, embracing the season's slower, more reflective energy. This is the perfect time to harness the power of your breath by diving into Pranayama. Join Silas for a special 3-part workshop series designed to demystify pranayama and help you establish a sustainable practice that nourishes body and mind.
In this series, we will explore core pranayama techniques such as ujjayi breath (victorious breath), Nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), and viloma (interrupted breathing). You will learn how to integrate a simple yet effective 5 to15-minute pranayama practice into your day.
Come as a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, these workshops will meet you where you are. Each session builds on the last, providing both a solid foundation and room for deepening your practice.
Whether you attend one, two, or all three workshops, you'll gain valuable tools to deepen your understanding of pranayama and develop a practice that can support you throughout the winter months and beyond.

Workshop 1: Introduction to Foundational Pranayama Techniques
In the first session, we’ll explore the fundamentals of pranayama, focusing on the basics of ujjayi breath, sama vritti pranayama & Nadi Shodhana. You’ll gain an understanding of how breath affects your energy and mental clarity. Expect to leave with practical tools for a simple daily practice.
Workshop 2: Refining Techniques & Incorporating New Practices
This session will be more interactive, allowing you to share experiences, ask questions, and refine your technique. We’ll introduce new pranayama methods, like viloma (interrupted breathing) and dive deeper into the subtleties of breath liberation, helping you feel more confident in overcoming any roadblocks in your practice.
Workshop 3: Final Check-in: Solidify & Maintain
In the final workshop, we’ll revisit the techniques learned, ensure proper alignment, and troubleshoot any questions or challenges. You’ll leave feeling grounded in your pranayama practice, with a clear plan for integrating space for breath into your daily routine.
